Common questions about project fit, materials, preparation, timing and the Precision Pavers process.
General questions
Start here. Then start with the site.
What areas does Precision Pavers serve?
We serve Toronto and many surrounding GTA communities, including Etobicoke, North York, Scarborough, Mississauga, Brampton, Oakville, Vaughan, Markham, Pickering, Ajax and Oshawa.
What types of projects do you build?
Our work includes interlock driveways, patios, walkways, concrete, retaining walls, outdoor living spaces, landscape construction, grading, drainage, lighting, porcelain, flagstone and repairs.
Do you provide free estimates?
You can submit a no-obligation estimate request. The next step depends on project location, scope and fit; some design or detailed planning work may be a separate service.
How far in advance should I contact you?
Earlier is better for projects with design, permits, engineering, material lead times or coordinated trades. Availability changes through the construction season.
Why is base preparation important for interlock?
The base supports the surface and helps control settlement. Excavation, granular material, compaction, drainage and edge restraint should be designed around the use and site conditions.
Can existing interlock be repaired?
Often yes. Local settlement, failed edges and uneven areas can sometimes be lifted and relaid. Large-scale foundation failure or a desired redesign may make replacement more appropriate.
Does concrete crack?
Concrete can crack as it shrinks and moves. Preparation, reinforcement strategy, thickness, drainage, curing and control joints help manage risk but cannot make exterior concrete crack-proof.
Do you offer landscape and 3D design?
Yes. Design scope can range from layout and material planning to 3D concepts for larger or more complex projects.
Can a project be completed in phases?
Yes, when future phases are considered in the initial elevations, drainage, conduit and layout plan.
What information should I send for an estimate?
Include the property location, type of work, approximate dimensions, photos, desired materials or style, timing and an investment range if available.
Tell us about the project
Start with a clear scope.
Send the property location, type of work, approximate size and timing. We will review the details and contact you about the right next step.
